ABOUT ME

Writer and editor Stephanie Finnegan has a diverse background in magazine and book publishing. She has worked for some of the most recognizable names in the publishing industry: Bantam Doubleday Dell, Random House, Hachette Book Group, Kensington, and Time Warner, to name a few. As an author, she has written guides to publishing in the YA and Romance Markets. Her biographies of doll legends--Robert Tonner and Madame Alexander--won critical acclaim and rave reviews. Her history of the dollhouse, THE DOLL HOUSE BOOK, has become a must-have for hobbyists and enthusiasts around the world. The book was a sought-after staple for museum and gift shops. Several lectures were launched nationally in conjunction with that book's publication. Additionally, her ebook toy-buying guide, TOYING AROUND, topped the Amazon bestseller list throughout the Christmas season.

In her editorial capacity, Stephanie has helped to edit, fact-check, rewrite, and fine-tune manuscripts from both brand-new authors to accomplished veterans. Whether a writer is a first-time scribe, who is hoping to find his or her voice, or a seasoned professional, who is looking to have his or her copy spruced up and energized, Stephanie has always been delighted to accompany her authors on their journeys of self-expression and self-awareness.
